Raw, unpasteurized linden (basswood) honey from Ontario, harvested by Father Thomas' Bee Farm. It pours pale and almost water-white — but the light colour is deceiving: linden honey is prized for a bold, fresh, woody flavour with a cool, lingering minty finish.
Basswood trees bloom for only about two weeks each year, which makes true linden one of the rarer and most sought-after single-source honeys. Lovely stirred into herbal or mint tea, or drizzled over soft cheese, yogurt and fresh fruit. Raw and unfiltered, with the natural pollen and enzymes intact.
Presented in a classic glass jar — 250 g, 500 g and 1 kg. The 1 kg glass jar is local pickup only. Honey ships within Ontario.
