Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for supporting our mission through your purchase. Church Icon Store is not an ordinary e-commerce shop — proceeds from every purchase go to support the mission. We carefully source authentic Orthodox icons, prayer ropes, incense, and devotional items from monasteries and workshops in Greece, Mount Athos, and Georgia. Many of our items are handcrafted and blessed at holy sites.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL

Because of the sacred and personal nature of our items, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for orders that were delivered correctly and arrived intact. Once a blessed or devotional item has left our care and reached your home, it cannot be restocked or resold.

There is also a practical reason for this. We intentionally keep our prices as low as possible — close to our cost — so that devotional items remain accessible to every Orthodox household. Because most items are modestly priced, shipping often costs nearly as much as the item itself. Accepting a return would mean paying for shipping a second time — a cost that would fall on the mission.

We warmly ask you to think of your purchase the way you would think of acquiring a candle, icon, or prayer rope at your parish: an offering made with love, where what you give goes to support the mission. Just as one would not return a candle to a parish, we ask for your understanding that our devotional items are offered in the same spirit.

We kindly ask that you review your order carefully before purchasing — including sizes, materials, and descriptions. If you have any questions about an item before ordering, please contact us and we will gladly help you choose.

DAMAGED, INCORRECT, OR MISSING ITEMS

If your order arrived damaged, if you received the wrong item, or if something is missing from your order, we will make it right at no cost to you:
• Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@churchiconstore.com
• Include your order number and photos of the item and packaging
• We will send a replacement or issue a refund, whichever you prefer

ORDERS LOST IN TRANSIT

If your order does not arrive, contact us and we will work with the carrier to locate it or make it right.

ORDER CANCELLATIONS

If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. Orders that have not yet shipped can be cancelled and refunded in full. Once an order has shipped, it can no longer be cancelled.

TAXES, DUTIES & CROSS-BORDER ORDERS

For orders shipped to the United States, all applicable taxes and duties are calculated and shown automatically at checkout — the total you see at checkout is the full and final amount. There are no surprise charges on delivery.

Canadian orders are domestic and are not subject to any customs duties or import fees.

Shipping delays caused by customs processing are beyond our control.

YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you may have under the consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction, where such laws apply to your purchase.
